Monday [10/01/2010]: My life without you.
My Life Without You is an informal collaborative project of a group of people working in health-related issues, and explore with interest the possibilities of the Internet. The initiative is not linked to any association, institution or professional or scientific society. Intended to be a place that offers help clear, comprehensive, transparent, not linked to commercial interests, to inform, support and facilitate the decision to leave (or not) smoking.

Of the 6,941 residents who occupied a place in the last edition, 2,369 are foreign graduates. In Castilla-La Mancha and Castilla y León, foreign rate exceeds 47 percent of the population and in 9 provinces MIR graduates outside of Spain are the majority.

Friday [14/01/2010]: Exams!
One way to combat anxiety before to divide the questions is to take a white sheet and a few minutes to write about what worries them. This simple exercise releases the intellectual capital necessary to complete the test successfully, as the conclusion of a team of researchers from the University of Chicago. Scientists have shown that students who download their concerns on paper drew better academically than those who did not. The results are published in the latest issue of the journal Science.

Sunday, 5th of September: La última cena [The last supper]:  In 2008 I participated in an exchange program for health professionals. For a month I went to Hungary studying the role of IT in improving care. That post has the last day in Budapest and, of course, the last dinner together with the coordinator of Budapest.

Monday, 6th of September: Siempre nos quedará París [We will always have Paris]: And in this post we have the final meeting held in Paris. Each team exhibited his work done during the exchange program, in my case, "Improving continuity of care: the role of IT", in Hungary.

Tuesday, 7th of September: Con las pilas cargadas [With charged batteries]: The first post after returning of vacation. We talked about the days on the beach with the family and we stock the most readed and most commented post of that summer.

Wednesday, 8th of September: Por mucho que me esfuerce [However much effort I]: Reflections on a salary supplement for nursing staff in temporary replacement nursing supervisor-coordinator. Why not with medical staff or others?

Thursday, 9th of September: La Ley de Murphy bloguera [Murphy's law for bloggers]: That's our theory about why the posts you work a lot was overlooked and yet lighter post have a lot more success.

Friday, 10th of September: El desaparecido [The late]: we miss a lot a very good virtual friend, @gerineldo, nearly a month gone. No twitter account, no LinkedIn, neither his blog... will be fulfilling his dream of working in the NHS.

I will suHRvive! That´s the english version of SobreviviRRHHé!, and of course, we can not loose our identity, the RRHH of "Recursos Humanos" in the spanish version, was traslated to the HR of "Human Resources" in that one.

First of all, we are very sorry about our mistakes, but even in spanish we sometimes wrote incorrectly, why not in english? We could improving our english level, and this is a very funny way to practise it.

Sunday, 2nd of August: Dinero fácil y chicas gratis [Money for nothing and chicks for free]: sundays in I will suHRvive means musical video-post. Last sunday we dedicated a Dire Straits greatest heat Money for Nothing for a two special twitter friends.

Monday, 3rd of August: El diablo está en los detalles [The devil is on details]: how a very important spanish politician  make a video announcing his vacations but make a very hard mistake. He didn't use the seat-belt during a car trip.

Tuesday, 4th of August: En nombre propio [In my own name]: the trascription of my second interwiew in a health magazine, PRSalud.

Wednesday, 5th of August:
  1. San Orgasmo de Loyola [Female Orgasm day]: a very funny post about the celebration of the female orgasm day and the day of my saint, Ignatius of Loyola.
  2. Preguntas en el aire [Questions in the air]: a furious post about a hard day at work. For the moment, nor do I want and I can not go into details, simply launch a series of questions on the air, waiting for that one day we can solve the unknown.
Thursday, 6th of August: Compartiendo retos de salud [A share challenge for health]: HOPE Exchange Programme, a 4-week training period, is targeting hospital and healthcare professionals with managerial responsibilities. They are working in hospitals and healthcare facilities, adequately experienced in their profession with a minimum of three years of experience and have proficiency in the language that is accepted by the host country. During their stay, HOPE Exchange Programme participants are discovering a different healthcare institution, a different healthcare system as well as other ways of working. Each year, a different topic is associated to the programme, which is closed by HOPE Agora, a conference and and evaluation meeting around the topic. “Better health - A shared challenge for hospitals and primary health care” will be the subject for 2011. The Finnish HOPE member will organise the 2011 Agora in Turku on June 20-21, 2011.

Sunday, 25th of July: Alejandro [Alejandro]: sundays in I will suHRvive means musical video-post. That chance we select Alejandro, a very interesting video clip by Lady Gaga, and the most funny thing is that this is the favourist song of my little spiderboy, Sergio, 4 years old.

Monday, 26th of July: La fuerza de la colaboración [The power of collaboration]: Last sunday we were witness during the Formula One race of the problems between Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa in Ferrari Team. That's give us the opportunity to talk about the "marshmallow problem" -- a simple team-building exercise that involves dry spaghetti, one yard of tape and a marshmallow. Who can build the tallest tower with these ingredients? And why does a surprising group always beat the average?

Tuesday, 27th of July: Levanta tu culo [Get up your butt]: The more Americans engage in one of their favorite pastimes -- sitting around -- the shorter their average life span, a new study suggests. We could read more about it in The Longer You Sit, the Shorter Your Life Span: Study.

Wednesday, 28th of July: Asertividad [Assertiveness]: we could read in a babys newsweek the next sentence: "the fathers have more assertiveness, the mothers, more kindness". In this occasion, that was the excuse to write a very funny post about it and investigate about the meaning of this word and the uses in press, sometimes wrongly.

Thursday, 29th of July: Lega-legalización [legalization]: the spanish Ministry of Health have approved the marketing of "Sativex, a cannabis-derived medicine to treat spasticity in multiple sclerosis patients. Could be the first step to legalize the use of that king of soft-drugs?

Friday, 30th of July: El fin del mundo [Feet what I want]: after 8 weeks at home taking care of my two little children, next monday I must come back to work. That the end of my 8 weeks of holiday and, for me, that could be the end of world. No, I'm joking, in fact there are 20,000 asteroids threatening Earth. There is nothing...

Sunday, 18th of July: De visita por el fogón [Visiting the burning]: the last sunday I was invited to write about a book and to leave a recipe relationed with the book. The site is El fogón de la Dra. Jomeini, a very good friend of mine, and the book I choose for this ocasion was Viajes con Heródoto, de Riszard Kapuscinski. I was in Budapest when I read that book, so the recipe that I put in relation with it is Gulash. Bon apetit!

Monday, 19th of July: Masajes piratas [bootleg massage]: this post is in defense of our physiotherapist, because nowadays we ca find all kind of bootleg services in our beaches that summer. That's unfair to all that people who study hard to obtain their degrees and it´s very dangerous to the citicens health who use that bootleg massage to save some money.

Tuesday, 20th of July: Arde Troya [Things are hotting up]: that summer in Spain is beeing extremely hot and we take the opportunity to remind some advices to endure that situation. I find that advices in english in that web site, so you must be aware if your are planning your holidays here.

Wednesday, 21th of July:
  1. Se busca [Wanted]: Last week was disclosed a list with that kink of job very difficult to fill, and some of that was doctors and nurses, so I took the chance to speak about our recruitmen system in the hospital where I work.
  2. ¿Será Casualidad? [What a coincidence!]: When I published the last post, no one job vacancies at the web site, but few hours later, suddenly we can find 5 opportinities to work with us. What a confidence!
Thursday, 22th of July: No se puede ser más tonto [Prize idiot]: watching the news I know about the existence of a hideous restaurant in the United Estates: Heart Attack Grill. The speciality dish: Quadruple Bypass Burger. No more coments!

Friday, 23th of July: Pies para qué os quiero [Feet what I want]:  a very funny post about a very special day in twitter, the #fotopie day. During that day we change our photo avatar for another one with our feet. A very special occasion to know funny people to follow and some reflections about the uses of twitter.
